Parrotia persica AGM

Deciduous, spreading, short trunked tree with flaking, grey and fawn bark. Rich green leaves turn yellow, orange and red in autumn. Small, red flowers are borne on bare wood in early spring. Full sun, moist soil. Ht 10ft. One of the finest small trees for autumn colour, even on chalk.
