Annie Guilfoyle Garden Masterclass – What makes a successful gardener?

Annie Guilfoyle will guide you through the fundamentals of what makes a successful garden design, starting with basic design principles and moving on to choosing and using hard materials. There will be a workshop element to the day, with some design exercises and an opportunity to think about how to apply these ideas to your own garden.

Owner Peter Stott will conduct a tour of the gardens, discussing the use of colour, structure and the importance of layers, including a tour of the growing fields and propagation areas – home to the vast collection of plants including rare and unusual varieties for which Larch Cottage is so well known and which are not usually open to the public.

Our Chapel and Gardens are open to the public every Wednesday and Sunday afternoon from 2nd May until the 28th October. We raise money for various charities and causes through the opening of the gardens and charge a £4 admittance unless you are a member of the Gardener’s World 2 for 1 scheme or the RHS in which case their rules apply.
