Betula ‘Royal Frost’

A new introduction 2006. Persistant purple leaves and a white bark. An improvement on ‘pupurea’- a lovely unusual tree. The rich burgundy leaf colour holds well during summer turning yellow/orange/red in autumn. After a few years it shows a good white bark with cinnamon hues. Ht 16ft (5m).
