Cornus Controversa ‘Gold Star’

A beautiful form of the wedding cake tree, more golden variegated than the well known cornus controversa variegata. Slow-growing small tree or large shrub with a distinctive, graceful tiered habit. The leaves are variegated with dominant gold edged mid green leaves. In summer, clusters of small, white flowers appear on the branches. Full sun or partial shade. Fertile, well-drained soil. Neutral to acid.
