Cercidiphyllum magnificum

Rare form. An attractive, Japanese, deciduous tree. The leaves are larger than the type, bronze when young, turn rich green, then yellow to purple in the autumn, especially on acid soil. Also gives off a sweet pungent scent -like burnt sugar. Ht 20ft. Best in full sun & moist acidic soil.
