Hydrangea serrata ‘Barca’

A lovely small lacecap hydrangea named after the FC Barcelona football club. A deciduous shrub with a spreading habit. Ht and Spr about 1 m. Dark green, shiny leaves, turning red in autumn. In summer, flat heads of small, blue fertile flowers and much larger, pink sterile flowers, turning blue in autumn. The inflorescences contrast beautifully with the leaves. Moderately moist soils, preferably in light shade, in places sheltered from the wind.
