Prunus incisa ‘February Pink’

A lovely Japanese species forming a broad upright large shrub. Masses of pink buds opening in February oin bare stems and can be as early as January in a mild winter. Small incisely toothed leaves, beautifully tinted in autumn. Used by the Japanese for Bonsai. Any reasonable soil. Sunny position. Protect from early spring frosts. Ht 3m. Moist but well drained soil.
