Calycanthus ‘Venus’

Rare and recently introduced. Large ivory yellow buds open into large, 3-4″ multipetaled white flws flushed yellow/purple in the centre. Wonderfully fragrant with aromas of strawberries/melons. Flws: Spring and intermittently throughout the season. Glossy green leaves turn yellow in autumn. Ht 5-6ft. Well drained soil. Sun/ part shade.
