Also known as Cherokee. The sister seedling to Stella. Cherokee fruits are dark red and of excellent flavour. A high yielding tree, cropping later than Stella. Self fertile. Rootstock: colt, semi-vigorous. Ht 3.5-4 metres in 10 years.
