Phormium ‘Black Velvet’

This is one of the darkest of the ‘black’ Phormiums. It has superb dark maroon colour with a beautiful silvery-grey underside to the spear-like leaves. Ht 3 ft x 3ft. Prefers full sun, or partial shade with free-draining, but moist soil or compost.
