Silene acaulis subsp. exscapa

Synon. ‘bryoides’. Found at high altitude in the Alps and Pyrenees this charming little plant forms mats of tiny leaves and becomes a mass of pink flws, May-Aug. Ht 1-2cm. Well drained soil. Sunny position.
