Anemone trifolia

‘Wood anemone’. Anemone trifolia is very similar to A. nemorosa and found almost in the same areas, mainly hardwoods, beechwoods and hedges, differing from this species in the colour of its anthers, which are white, in contrast to A. nemorosa ‘s being yellow. Bear single, white flws upto 2cm in diam., Mar-Apr. Ht 10-20cm.
