Robinia x margaretta ‘Pink Cascade’

Wonderful displays of deep pink, pea-like flowers that hang in racemes around 15-20cm long, early summer. Stronger in colour than most pink flowering False Acacia trees they have a pleasant fragrance. Mid-green, pinnate leaves turn yellow in autumn before falling. Rounded, open head. Ht 6m x 4 m in 20 years. Best grown in full sun although can tolerate some shade.Any reasonable soil, especially useful for dry, sunny sites.
