Mahonia ‘Jungle Whisper’

Compact, evergreen shrub. New growth is red maturing to green. Clusters of rounded purple-red buds open into unusual double flowers in warm shades of orange, peach and yellow, during the summer (Aug-Oct) and in abundance. Attractive to pollinators. Ht and spr 80-100cm. Humus-rich, moist but well-drained soil. Best grown in ericaceous compost if growing in pots. Sun/ part shade.
