Magnolia grandiflora ‘Kay Parris’

Leathery, glossy, leaves to 20cm (8in) long. Pinkish young leaves, quickly turning green above, orange-brown beneath. A selection from ‘Little Gem’ and hardier down to -15°C (5°F). Creamy white, scented flws, Aug-Oct. Ht upto 20ft (6m). Needs sheltered site. Sun or Part shade.
