Native to south-eastern Australia and the favourite food of koalas! Very popular in the cut flower industry with its beautiful heart-shaped green leaves that are fragrant. Protect from severe frost. When young, the eucalyptus has round leaves, which later become elongated. The eucalyptus leaf is often used for its aromatic oils. It also keeps mosquitoes and flies away as they don’t like the scent of eucalyptus. Well drained, sunny position. Keep pruned to keep small.
