‘Paper-bark maple’. A french selection with a beautiful red autumn colour. One of the most beautiful of all small trees with year-round interest. Leaves turn brilliant red and scarlet in autumn. Flaking bark curls back and reveals cinnamon coloured underbark. Yellow flowers in the spring. Ht 3m in 10 years. Full sun/partial shade. Moist, well-drained soil.
