A hybrid between ‘Edward Goucher’ and Abelia chinensis. Flowers in abundance, the entire plant is covered with clusters of strongly scented pink flowers with flamboyant raspberry sepals, early May-June and continues through the summer and autumn. When the flowers drop the sepals remain, prolonging the interest of its flowering and bringing an attractive colour until the end of autumn. Deciduous. Compact habit. Ht 3-4ft. Flowers best in full sun. Tolerates partially shaded positions.
