Help us to raise £10,000 for Eden Valley Hospice
This Year we are raising money for Eden Valley Hospice
2025 marks our 40th year in business and we would like to raise money for Eden Valley Hospice in Carlisle, a charity close to our heart as we cannot thank them enough for the care we received there last year. The service offered is second to none both for patients and their families, taking care of absolutely everything and eliminating the need to think so final days can be treasured memories.
Eden Valley Hospice rely on the help and support from us all, the local community, to offer the highest quality care to those with life limiting conditions. The local NHS trust provides around 20% of their running costs, whilst the remaining 80% comes from the generosity and efforts of supporters in the local area and beyond through fundraising.
We are hoping to raise over £10,000 for this amazing charity over the year.
Therefore as part of our fundraising during 2025, we are holding a raffle which will be drawn at our Christmas preview on Sunday November 2nd.
Our private gardens and chapel will be open twice a week from May until the end of September where proceeds will also go towards this charity.
Harkness roses has kindly named a beautiful rose for us, in honour of this charity – ‘Eden Valley Rose’ and £10 from the sale of each of these roses will go to this amazing charity. The Eden Valley rose is a floribunda bush rose with a medium fragrance, with a height and spread of 100cm x70cm ideal for any garden border, or a pot on your patio.
The roses are available to purchase in the nursery, or via our website, so please help us to raise money for this wonderful local charity, as they do such a fantastic job for families in our area.
