Genista x spachiana AGM

Easter Broom, native to the Canary Islands. An evergreen shrub with small, dark green trifoliate leaves and very fragrant small yellow flowers in slender terminal racemes to 10cm long in late winter and early spring. Ht 5-8ft. Sunny position, well drained soil. Needs winter protection in cool greenhouse/ conservatory.
