Physocarpus opulifolius ‘Red Baron’

‘Ninebark’. A bushy, deciduous shrub with upright, dark red stems bearing ovate, lobed, maroon leaves and flattened clusters of small, cup-shaped, pink-flushed, white flowers in late spring and early summer followed by fruit that turns from green to red. Ht 2ft (2m). Happiest in sunny areas it will thrive in most types of soil and needs very little attention.
