Clematis ‘Yukikomachi’ (Morning Cloud)

A Japanese hybrid. Compact habit, usually no more than 2.5 metres tall. Pretty pale lavender flowers with white central bar. Flws: May-Jun and again late summer. Grows well in a part shade position and under these conditions has the best colours. Avoid a place in full sun, otherwise the pale lavender colour becomes paler. Prune group 2 -Prune after flowering by cutting back the top one-third to one-half of some stems.
