Pyrus- Pear (asian) Shinseiki

One of the best variety for our climate. Dessert pears, stores well. Sunny, sheltered position. The large fruits are a pale yellow colour with a firm sweet white flesh. Shinseiki is also an attractive ornamental tree. The young leaves have bronze tints before turning green, the flowers are quite large, and the fruits also add to the ornamental appeal in the autumn. Needs a pollinator such as conference or williams or other varieties that flower at the same time.
