Prunus- Plum ‘Edda’ Wavit

Czar x Pêche. Edda is an excellent modern dessert plum. Produces a reliable crop of blue skinned fruits in August that have yellow flesh with a fine rich, juicy flavour. Grows well in difficult conditions so suitable for northern climates. Beautiful white blossoms appear during the spring. Developed at the State Experimental Station near Oslo in Norway during 1950s.
