Prunus – Apricot ‘Kioto’ SJA

Kioto is a new apricot variety. Heavy crops of round orange flushed red fruits arrive in early July. Flesh is sweet and juicy! Very high productivity, good thinning and less split resistance. The tree is slightly more compact than a standard apricot and frost resistant. Self fertile. A great garden variety as it’s easy to grow! Ht 3-3.5m in 10 years. Sunny, warm, sheltered position. Well drained soil.
