Nierembergia repens

Commonly found on river banks in Chile, Argentina and Uruguay. Excellent ground cover and long flowerer. Dense habit. Large white, fragrant flowers with yellow throats. Flws: Jun-Sept. Height 5cm, spread 20cm or more. Where soil in moist enough, it will tolerate full sun, otherwise better suited to semi-shade. Best kept frost free over winter.
