An attractive, compact evergreen shrub. Attractive fiery red young foliage, maturing to green then turning brilliant red in autumn. Racemes of bell-shaped white flushed pink flowers. Flowers, April-May. Ht 35cm x spr 45cm. Well drained fertile acid soil, part shade.
