Heptacodium Miconioides

Deciduous Chinese shrub related to Abelia. Upright habit, peeling bark. Snow white blossom covers the plant, late summer. In good weather, as the flws fade, brilliant red sepals elongate on the fruits and last well into autumn. Good autumn colouring reds/purples. Ht 12ft. Well drained soil, sunny position.
