Cotoneaster hillieri

Dark brownish green foliage, maturing to a reddish shade in autumn, on stiffly erect branches which also bear the dark red flowers from May to June, reflowering again in Sept. Deciduous. The blood red fruit ripens from Sept – Oct. Ht; 2.5-3m. Prefers well drained soil & a sunny spot. Wind-hardy and good in coastal areas.
