Calycanthus floridus ‘Athens’

A yellow-green flowered form of Sweetshrub. Slow growing, suckering habit. Star shaped, light greenish yellow flowers, early to mid summer with strong fruity fragrance. Dark green leaves turn golden yellow in autumn. Ht 6ft x spr 8ft. Adaptable shrub for sunny or shaded locations. Well drained soil.
