Swamp azaleas are a unique species of deciduous azalea of North American origin. These azaleas offer later flowering and extremely fragrant flowers. Medium-sized, coral pink flowers with golden orange flare open in late May and continue flowering for about 3 weeks. Strong fragrance. Deciduous leaves are smaller than on other deciduous azaleas. Ht 5-6ft. Acid soil. Sunny position.
