We’re absolutely thrilled to announce that Larch Cottage has been voted by members of the public as the National Garden Scheme’s ‘Nation’s Favourite Garden’ in the competition’s North category.
The award was collected by owners Peter and Jo Stott who on Monday 4th November attended the awards ceremony at the Garden Museum in London.
The event was hosted by the National Garden Scheme and The English Garden magazine who teamed up for the competition. Throughout the summer, thousands of people nominated their favourite gardens, which all open their gates on behalf of the National Garden Scheme. With over 3,500 extraordinary gardens to choose from, it was always going to be a fierce competition!
All the team were over the moon by the news that Larch Cottage had been shortlisted and was the only garden nominated in Cumbria. We have been eagerly awaiting the result of the public vote.
Thank you to everyone who voted and we look forward to seeing many of you at our National Garden Scheme open days next Spring.
