Mespilus germanica ‘Nottingham’

‘Medlar’. Hardy, small deciduous tree. In autumn the large rich green leaves turn beautiful rusty orange/red tones. Numerous, pure white, single flws, spring followed by medium sized, pear shaped, yellowish-brown fruit that need to be fully ripe (very soft) before eating. Ht 4m in 10 years. Full sun and well drained soil.
