Stachyurus yunnanensis

A rare species from China with lance-shaped, evergreen, leathery leaves. Pendulous spikes of grennish-yellow flws in late Spring. h leathery leaves sometime with a distinct dark red tinge and pendulous spikes of green yellow flowers in spring. China Ht 4-6ft. Sun / part shade. Prefers a rich acid soil. Grow as wall shrub in coldest localities.
