Sambucus nigra ‘Blue Sheen’

Sambucus nigra ‘Blue Sheen’ is an upright, deciduous shrub with pinnate leaves divided into ovate, dark purple-black leaflets with a silvery-blue sheen and flattened panicles of tiny, aromatic, pink flowers in summer followed by glossy, black fruit. Ht 4m x spr 4m after 10+ years. Full sun or part shade. Will tolerate most types of moist, well drained soil.
