Pinus nigra ‘Green Tower’

A relatively new selection found in seedlings of Pinus nigra var pyramidata. It is a narrow upright columnar shape with 10-13 cm long, shiny dark green needles. The plant branches well and after 10 years, is about 140 cm high and 45 cm wide. Good growth at the fall at the ends of the branches located on top buds. These are grey and white coloured teardrop. Relatively slender growth habit.
