Picea engelmannii ‘Blue Magoo’

Picea engelmannii ‘Blue Magoo’ is an intermediate-growing upright selection of Engelmann spruce with short gray-Blue needles and a dense symmetrical branching structure. Particularly striking in the early spring, its teal Blue, lush new growth appears to weep or droop before eventually stiffening to more typical form in summer. Ht in 10 years: 6 ft (1.8 m) tall and 4 ft (1.2 m) wide.
