Paris quadrifolia

A rare and choice plant for the shade enthusiast. Leaves in a whorl of 4 near the top of the stem, no other leaves on stem. Flower consists of 4 narrow sepals, 4 even narrower green petals and 8 long narrow stamens. All these numbers can vary. A black berry develops in the centre.
