Malus ‘James Grieve’ M27 Step-over

One of the most reliable of all apples. Vigorous, upright growth. Good, regular cropper. Fruit: Pale yellow/red streaks, rich flavour, Sept. Rootstock= M27. Very dwarf. Height 2metres (6ft). Excellent for the smaller garden. An attractive space-saving way to grow fruit. The stepover is a low-growing, horizontally-trained tree that can literally be ‘stepped over’. Stepovers can be planted along an edge of a path or a bed, and make an excellent divider on an allotment or fruit garden.
