A compact version of Bramley Seedling- 20% less vigorous. Highly recommended. One of the richest apples in vitamin C content. An abundance of large green fruits are produced biennially. Good keeper Well drained, sheltered, sunny site. Triploid: needs two pollinators. Semi vigorous rootstock: Ht 3m metres in 10 years. Grown on M116- a new rootstock similar to MM106 but produces a slightly smaller tree (although larger than M26). It was developed in the 1960s from MM106 crossed with M27.
These trees have been grown in the ground and potted Jan 2026, please note they will not be fully rooted in their pots until Spring/ Summer 2026 but can be planted straight out through the dormant period.
