A very attractive garden apple variety that looks especially stunning in the spring with it’s light pink blossom. A good variety to plant in challenging areas accross the UK as it’s very hardy. It has pink over cream skinned crisp apple has an extraodinary lemon scent and has a fine refreshing flavour. Pleasant for eating fresh, can be juiced and cooks well to a sweet puree. Pollination group 2. Found growing wild on the island of Bardsey. Semi vigorous rootstock: Ht 3.5-4 metres in 10 years.
These trees have been grown in the ground and potted Nov 2025, please note they will not be fully rooted in their pots until Spring/ Summer 2026 but can be planted straight out through the dormant period.
