An old traditional English russet. One of the best late dessert apples. Pale green armatic fruit with strong sweet-sharp acid drop flavour. An excellent keeper, until March in ideal conditions. White flowers mid season. Pick fruit October. Disease resistant. Rootstock= MM106. Ht 3-3.5m in 10 years. Well drained soil, sunny position.
