Magnolia laevigata ‘Vanilla Pearls’

A dwarf variety of this spring flowering shrub which is perfect for smaller gardens and containers as it reaches a height and spread of 70cm. Waxy, evergreen leaves. Creamy white, heavily perfumed flowers with sweet, vanilla-like scent. Flowers March-April, sometimes with a second flush in summer if conditions are favourable. Attracts bees and other pollinators. Moist, well-drained soil in a site in full sun or part shade. Neutral to mildly acidic growing medium.
