‘Crape Myrtle’. A beautiful large shrub requiring a hot sunny site. Panicles of bright glowing red flws with crinkled petals, mid-end July. Good autumn colour. Flaking bark on mature plants. Ht 7-8ft. Best planted against a sunny wall. May need winter protection. Well drained soil. Ht 3-4m.Prune back in spring after the frosts to about 1/3.
