Hakonechloa macra ‘Sunflare’

A striking new introduction of the Japanese forest grass. Vibrant chartreuse leaves becoming intense golden yellow with more sun and tipped with burgundy. Lovely autumn colou- a combination of chartreuse/ gold with tones of burnt orange and burgundy-red. Neat, compact mounding habit with graceful cascading foliage. Slow growing. Well-drained soil in partial sun. Ht: 30-45cm (12-18”).
