Cotinus coggygria ‘Lilla’ (PBR)

‘Smoke Bush’. A dwarf form of the ‘C. Royal Purple with slower and more compact growth. Deciduous, deep wine red, rounded leaves that turn scarlet red, orange and golden in autumn (best colour on acid soils). Large fluffy panicles of tiny flowers, Jun-Jul. Ht 3-4ft (90cm-120cm). Well-drained, moderately fertile, moist soil in full sun or partial shade. Fully hardy to -34°C. Suitable for outdoor pots.
