Cornus kousa ‘Schmetterling’

A vigorous selection of upright habit. Large white bracts, freely produced borne upon dark green foliage in summer, which turn shades of scarlet and dark red before falling in autumn. Cornus kousa ‘Schmetterling’ in an excellent choice of large shrub or small tree. Height: 6m (20′). Spread: 4m (13′). Not suitable for shallow, chalk soils.
