Chaenomeles cathayensis

A very hardy large shrub or small tree native to China and growing at 900-2500m. Narrow leaves and long thorny stems. Beautiful rosy white flowers in April. Plant two for cross pollination. Very large fruits upto 900g when mature. Any reasonable soil.
