Calycanthus floridus ‘Aphrodite’

An upright, multi-stemmed, sometimes suckering, deciduous shrub with oblong to oval, dark green leaves turning golden yellow in autumn and, in summer, fragrant, red to reddish-purple flowers with strap-shaped petals.
