Acer palmatum ‘Dolly Hill’

The Acer palmatum ‘Dolly Hill’ is a beautiful rounded maple with large leaves which move through various shades of red through the seasons. When the leaves first appear in spring they vary from maroon to bright red, taking on more green tones in the summer whilst still retaining a red hue, finally displaying a vivid scarlet in autumn. It can grow up to 3.5 metres. It requires partial shade and well drained, acid to neutral soil.
